'Laguna' Northcote Period Home

This property sits on Ruckers Hill, with a massive view across to the city and eastern suburbs. The house was built around 1911. The garden was let run down. Fortunately, a few mature palms and trees survived to give the new garden a head start.

The garden plantings have been zoned to suit the conditions, purpose and mood of the different areas. We have a lush and cool planting around the immediate house and swimming pool, with a Mediterranean zone in the more exposed front garden space. This also is the food garden, providing an ever increasing abundance of fresh food. Above the underground carpark we have what is effectively a roof top garden the is a herbal space and flower garden.
