Most work starts with an On-site Consultation and follow up Concept Plan with Estimation of Costs. Inner City Nature charges a flat fee of $550 for this service.
What you will get:

On site consultation. This is where we meet to discuss your needs and dreams and do a basic site analysis. Generally takes 1.5 hours

Follow up Concept Plan. The Concept Plan is a digitally hand-drawn plan that captures the on-site consultation and presents the options for how to proceed with the garden. The plan will show the organisation of the space and functional needs, areas to be planted and the needs of those plantings, areas for hard landscape elements such as paving, decking, retains etc. For simple projects, the garden can be priced and built from this drawing.

A Schedule of Works and Budget Outline. This document lays the project out in its components with an estimated budget for these components. This document will also identify the further design and budget to complete the design to a 'ready to build' stage.
Further Design
The further design process will include:

Presentation of Plant Theme options and follow up Planting Plan. Many clients find it useful to visit the nursery during this stage to look at plants and see plant layouts to understand the options and their personal preferences.

Presentation of Material Theme options and follow up Landscape Plan

The landscape Plan will also include an Irrigation Plan, Lighting Plan and Construction Details as necessary.

Perspective drawings can also be created if required as part of the design process.
Building Your Garden
Inner City Nature is flexible about how you would like to proceed with the construction of your garden.
Some clients would like to build their own garden or at least parts of the project, with an expert on the end of the phone. Other clients would like the project built.
'Hard Landscape' Inner City Nature sub-contract from a select group of trades for construction of the garden (such as paving, concreting, retaining walls). We will obtain quotes and get the garden built within your budget, managing the works and ensuring quality and timeliness is upheld.
'Soft Landscape' Inner City Nature are an expert garden planting business. We source, supply, position your plants in the landscape and plant your garden led by our team of horticulturalists. We take care of the garden bed preparation, mulching and irrigation.
Ongoing Maintenance Options
To ensure your garden establishes, we offer a quarterly, seasonal maintenance program.

At the change of seasons we will prepare for the next season and tidy and formative prune as required.
